WHEAT FREE PIE CRUST

(Makes 2 fine pie crust or 1 thick)
Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 1 cup oat flour ( I pulse oat flakes in a food processor 10 times to obtain flour) 
  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp sea salt
  • 2/3 - 3/4 cup cold water

Recipe:

Add all dry ingredients and combine. Add sesame oil, and water slowly until a dough consistency.
Leave to sit for 1/2 hour in the fridge. Spread between 2 baking sheets or directly with your hands in a pie dish oiled or lined with a baking sheet.
Precook for 10-15 minutes in an oven at 180ºC
​Remove from oven and leave to cool before adding the filling
