Sauce miso - tahini

MISO - TAHINI SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp white miso or more *
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp mustard
  • 2 Tbsp tahini **
  • water depending on consistency 

Recipe:
Mix the miso, tahini, mustard and rice vinegar. Add the water. You can also add some garlic or ginger.
The sauce can be used with different consistency depending on use, thick with raw vegetables for aperitif...

To use as salad dressing, add some olive oil and more water.

* Miso is a fermented paste traditionally used in Japan. It is made from soybeans, rice or barley, sea salt, water and a fermented fungus the Koji. It is found in heath stores or asiatic stores
** Tahini or tahin is a sesame cream made of crushed sesame seeds and some oil. it can be found already prepared in most health stores.
