Konjac spongeMay be you heard about it as it is becoming very popular and much talked about in blogs but for the other ones, this little sponge in a half sphere shape is 100% vegetal. A bit of history The sponges are made from the roots of the konjac, a plant found in Japan the Amorphophallus konjac. This plant has been used as as medicine, food and dieting plant in Asia (I never tried it) Benefits
The sponges are soft, they have the ability to clean the skin, to increase circulation, exfoliate and cleanse pores They are sold individually and they last 3 to 4 months. How to use it? It is simple, just soak the sponge in warm water for 15 minutes before the first use. Once you’ve used it, it will only need soaking for a minute or two before it softens and expands to about one and a half times its size. Rub the konjac sponge on the face in upward, circular motions. Rinse the konjac sponge well with cool water and gently squeeze the excess water out by pressing the sponge between your palms. Don’t twist, wring, or pull on it. It is easy to hang it to dry with the little rope. (for me in the shower). You can use it only with water or add a drop of your favorite cleaning product. The ++++: Ecologic, affordable, biodegradable. Which color to choose? The colors are based on active ingredients.
