If chickpeas are dry, soak them for 12h in cold water. Rinse them and cook them in water for 40 to 45 min or steam them, drain them, and keep some cooking water.
With canned chickpeas, drain them and put them in a pan with cold water and bring to a boil for a few minutes, drain and keep some of the cooking water.
In a mixer or blender, put the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice. Start mixing then add sesame paste, and adjust the consistency with the oil and the cooking water.
Season to taste
